CHARACTER:
The owner of Codie, Réka Mokán writes:
I had an idea of the perfect companion when I booked a puppy. I dreamed of a nice, smart, sensible, easy-to-handle dog when the puppies weren't even born, even though we know that the machine doesn't always deliver what we expect. I wanted him to be able to accompany me everywhere, to be interested in his surroundings, and to do what we do with joy and devotion, because we do it together. Then Codie was born. From the very beginning, he was the top of my heart, I managed to get him, and then I realized that he really is the dog I dreamed about. I couldn't imagine a better dog than him. He can herd, quite well, once he managed to herd a sheep by accident, and if he doesn't have to, he walks peacefully next to the horses, for example, and takes an interest in them. If I'm in the mood for a hike, he can't wait to go, if we go to dog school, he'll run with joy on the track, and it doesn't matter if there are agility or obedience tasks. If he happens to come to work with me (pub), he is the one who rushes to the door to greet people who wander in and ask for a caress. In addition, when he gets bored, he goes back and lies down peacefully. He doesn't bark unnecessarily, he's never been aggressive towards anyone over the years, apart from acquaintances or strangers coming our way. If we were at the vet and he got bored with the tartar removal, all he did was push the doctor's hand away with his foot, indicating that he had had enough. And these are just the everyday ones. We also regularly go to dog shows, which also does not cause any difficulties for him, even if he is in Junior Handling with my little sister. Codie is a dog that would go to hell for me, but he loves the rest of my family almost as much. Not your typical single owner male. And if it's a male, I have to mention that I'm extremely proud of him since there's another male in the house. He doesn't particularly prize the puppies (he simply ran away from his own ones when we visited them), but he took " the Little One under his "wings and helps a lot with his upbringing. He shows her the limits, but at the same time he loves him and plays with him, takes care of him. All in all, I got the dog of my dreams, with whom it is a pleasure to be with every day. I hope he will be with me for a long time, and the puppies from him will bring joy to others. |
